Water Bottle With Filter

Posted Nov 17th 2008  By Gabriel Harding

Currently the annual consumption of water bottles in the United States is over 30 billion and that is only counting the United States. So the guys over at End Bottled Water have a solution to help lower that number. This is a water bottle with a filter because they know that many people do not drink tap water simply because of health issues. So what you do is simply pour the water in close the top and drink while the filter located in the cap filters all the water that you are drinking.

The bottle only weighs 7 ounces so its not a big bulky bottle that you have to carry around and all the bottles are made from recycled plastics. The filter used helps to remove chlorine, chloramines, silt, sand, lead, sediment, industrial volatile organic compounds, tastes, and odors. The filters also include Japanese volcanic stones which help to aid in the absorption of water so that is a nice plus.

You can buy these now fro $49.95 a bottle and the replacement filters are going for $20. You may say that its a steep price to pay for a water bottle but it is estimated that each one of these keeps 1,100 bottles out of waste. If you would like to purchase one you can follow the link located above and go to their official website where they provide you with more information and pictures. via th

  1. You know, there was a time when thrift was a matter for pride, and old Yankees consoled themselves with the wise saying “Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.” I weep for the nation.
