Venice Goes Under Water

On Monday of this week Venice, Italy was flooded the deepest it has been in over 20 years. This is the fourth highest flood level that has been reached in Venice in its recent history. Waters reached a depth of over 5 feet making it extremely difficult, or inconvenient, to get around. Tourists and resident where urged to stay inside for safety reasons. Some did and others took pictures, rode the flood or just went about their normal day, of course dressed for the occasion (see pictures below). Could this be due to our current climate change? Floods this high have been seen in the past but it has been quite some time. Take a look at more pictures below.
