Plastic bottles are very convenient because you can take them anywhere and they are very durable but over 60 million plastic bottles are thrown away every day in the United States alone. Most are recyclable but the recycle rate is very low as is the decomposition rate of 700 years. Well a company called Brandimage took a step up to try to solve this waste by creating 100 percent recyclable paper bottles. Not only are these bottles food safe but you can also stack them and re-seal them.

These have yet to hit the markets but when they do it will be a nice alternative to plastic bottles that pollute our environment so much. One thing I am wondering though is the durability of these bottles seeing as how they are made with paper how will they stack up to plastic bottles which can endure a lot of damage. Also will people be willing to make the switch? We’ll just have to wait and see but the company claims that their bottles “stand up to all liquid categories”.
