As many of you know renewable energy plays a big part in many, if not all new buildings that are being constructed. Well on that note a couple of days ago Belgium inaugurated the Princess Elisabeth Base which is a Zero Emission Polar Station.

This station is used as a scientific research station and was set up and built with minimal impact on the environment. Not only was a very futuristic and sleek design used in the design of the building but the fact that it is a Zero Emissions station makes it look that much better.
