Many times when people say one person can make a difference people tend to say “oh I’m only one person what can I do” but here we have a story that truly proves that one person can make a difference. A man name Bob Jones has saved the Aleutian cackling goose by himself.

What he did was that he removed any threat to the species from the island by chasing away the foxes that where located in the region. After some time he found a family of 56 geese on a fox free island and started nursing them and moving them to different islands to spread them out. Now to this date thanks to him there are now tens of thousands of Aleutian cackling geese.
