Going green is a big factor for companies this year and as the year goes on we will start seeing many eco friendly innovations. Here Motorola Unveils The World’s First Carbon Neutral Cellphone which features a 100% recyclable casing which is made from recycled water bottles. Many of us are not aware of this but over 400,000 cellphones are thrown away or put out of use everyday and that really adds up as the year goes on. With newer and better cell phones constantly coming out the old ones just get thrown away.

For this Motorola teamed up with CarbonFund and once the phone is done being used you can easily recycle it by placing it in an envelope and sending it back. Too Much work you might say? Well not really considering that they provide a prepaid envelope in the package so shipment is very simple and free. Another thing they did with the packaging is that they used 22% less materials and the manual is printed on post consumer recycled paper with soy-based inks.You can check out the official site here.
