Bamboo has many great features that make it usable for many different things. From building, to means of transportation and even food for Pandas Bamboo is truly amazing. Here is the Japan Society’s Bamboo Exhibit which takes bamboo and transforms it into amazing pieces of art. I personally never thought that this could be done with bamboo but apparently it can.

Not only that but bamboo is a source of renewable material and is the fastest growing woody plant in the world. You could create some amazing structures simply with the use of bamboo.
