With China just revealing their new plans to build the biggest Solar Farm to date Iowa steps up into the Wind Farm industry. A very windy state that Iowa is they decided to go with a huge wind farm rather then a solar farm. They made plans to invest one billion dollars into their farm and will feature 335 wind generators which in turn will generate 500MW of energy. Each generator will be able to power anywhere from 500 to 1,000 homes. The project has yet to be finalized but construction is set to begin in about 3-5 years.
