Yesterday we showed you the Bright Idea Shade light bulb for those of you out there who either haven’t made the switch to energy efficient light bulbs as well as for those who don’t like the bright glare from the CFL light bulbs. Frog Design has just introduced a new LED light bulb that can last for up to 30 years! This bulb also uses less energy then the CFL lights and you don’t have to deal with the odd shape or strong glare that they emit. The way its designed to make the bulb last so long is that it has an aluminum base which absorbs the heat generated so it doesn’t burn out.

It’s been some time since the release of the energy efficient CFL light bulbs but their are still many people that have yet to make the switch. For some its due to the fact that the CFL light bulbs produce a strong glare and others just haven’t gotten to it yet. If you are either of those two check out the Bright Idea Shade light bulb.
