Nature inspires many things in our daily lives or that of designers and inventors. Well Maria Yasko is one of many who was inspired by nature. The Russian designer has created numerous shelves all with a nature theme to them. There are some pretty cool shelves that I would definitely place in my home. Designed by Yoon-Hui Kim and Eun-Kyung Kim is a very cool set of Illuminating Solar Blinds. Solar technology is used on countless things these days and as time passes and the technology gets better we will see some pretty amazing designs and products. The blinds pictured above have a set of solar panels on the which gather enough power to light up a design that is placed on the inside of the blinds. When you turn on the blinds you will see a image light up in form of either a table lamp, chandelier or a floor lamp.

For quite some time now Woodloop has been working on environmental projects. They specially select certified timbers for their age markings, colors, and styles. The design pictured above is one of Woodloops newest pieces and it looks amazing. It reminds me of a maze but could add a very nice touch a room.
