First we saw the Vatican install hundreds of solar panels on its rooftop and now another church in California has done the same. They installed a total of 150 solar panels which will generate 34,000 kWh each year, and will save the church between $900 and $1200 every month. Not only did they install the panels though, they are now educating the children in the churches school on solar energy. Also according to the Pastor he says that in the future they hope to double or even triple the solar capacity that it currently has.
