Recently Australian researches have been thinking of a way for Fridges to use less energy and learn how to conserve energy. What they cam up with was hosting a network of refrigerators which could all communicate with one another. All of the refrigerators communicate with each other seeing when is the best time to turn on which would cause less carbon emissions and when it is better to run less or be turned off.

In an interview West stated that “The fridges work together to decide when to cool down, and thus consume power, based on how much surplus power will be available.  In short, the fridges are working cooperatively to use the available power supply efficiently,” so the refrigerators have teamed up to help us out a bit.
